The site is built to automate the addition of new destinations, allowing visitors to customize content according to personal desires. The site also contains loyalty components such as online travel journals, post cards and free e-mail to ensure repeat visits.
simplytravel.com will ‘operate’ a network of online communities, each specific to a travel destination. Each community will be a self-perpetuating, self-sustaining resource tool that will allow travelers, travel vendors and travel agents to create and customize content according to personal needs and desires. Updating of information is automated by giving travel vendors the ability to log into a secure server and update their information through a series of templates. Travel vendors will also have the ability to communicate with other travel vendors via the simplytravel.com vendors only section.
